Online Services

Use Klinik for all appointment requests, specific conditions, general advice, medication queries or for administrative help.

You can use the NHS App to look at your medical record.  Alternatively you can use our online service to book appointments with a Nurse, request repeat prescriptions for any medications you take regularly that are on repeat and look at your medical record online. You can also still use the telephone or call in to the surgery for any of these services as well.

Being able to see your record online might help you to manage your medical conditions. It also means that you can even access it from anywhere in the world should you require medical treatment on holiday. If you decide not to join or wish to withdraw, this is your choice and practice staff will continue to treat you in the same way as before. In general this decision will not affect the quality of your care.

NHS App and Online services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can be available from your home PC, Tablet or Mobile phone.

Download the NHS App or Visit the Surgery with photo I.D and one of the reception staff will be happy to set you up on our online service ‘Patient Access’.

If you’re a registered patient at the practice, Patient Access allows you to use the following online services.

  • cancel appointments
  • Update your contact details
  • Order repeat medication

HOW TO REGISTER FOR OUR ONLINE SERVICES

For all appointment requests, specific conditions, general advice, medication queries or for administrative help, without the need to register, use Klinik.

To book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical records you will need to register in the Surgery for our new online service.  Patients must be aged 16 and over to use this service.

As part of the registration process and to allow this increased access you will need to reconfirm your identity in one of two ways:

  • Photo ID – for example, a passport, bus pass or photocard driving licence.
  • If you do not have suitable ID but are well known to your surgery, a member of staff may be able to confirm your identity.

Once registered, you can look at certain aspects of your records securely whenever you want, even from the comfort of your home, and find answers to questions you may have without ringing your doctor. In the future, you will be able to see even more with our online services.

ONLINE SERVICES SECURITY

Your security is very important to us. We take a number of measures to help safeguard you while you are using our Online Services. This page explains how to find out whether you’re connected securely. You can then have confidence that you are using the real Online Services site and all your communication with it is safe from eavesdroppers.

This site uses a security certificate issued by a trusted authority. This is a way to prove the site is genuine and to tell your browser to use strong encryption for every page you view. You will see the same technique used by online banks and shops.

Please check the certificate and familiarise yourself with how it looks in your browser. Whenever you use the site, check to make sure the certificate is still there. If it isn’t, don’t use the site and report the problem to your GP, who will bring it to our attention.

We have provided external links below to instructions for all the major browsers on how to view the security certificate. Click the link to open the instructions in a new window.
